Winter in Willamette: Parade, Carriage Rides, Holiday Bazaar & Tree Lighting

By November 29, 2018Restaurants

There is merrymaking on Main Street in Old Town Willamette and something for everyone in your family, from 1 to 92…..

Join in the spirit of the season with a old time Parade. Take a horse and carriage ride through the Historic district past vibrant and decorated Victorians and businesses all lit up with holiday lights and cheer.

Pick a tree and the perfect gift for under it at the Winter Market & Holiday Bazaar held inside and outside the Willamette Methodist Church. Wines and other delectable delights in the tent outside, warm cookies and one-of-a-kind gifts inside.

Sing along with carolers from the Church Childrens Choir around the official lighting of the Main Street Christmas tree at Willamette Ale & Cider House. New Metro Councilor Christine Lewis will light the tree. You don’t need to know the words, we have lyric sheets for you! See Santa at the Fire Station and then at Willamette Coffee House.

A West Linn tradition for you and yours!

9am – Sweater Dash
10am – Parade
10am-6pm – Winter Market & Holiday Bazaar
4-7pm – Carriage Rides
6pm – Lighting of the Main Street Holiday Tree & Christmas Caroling with special guest Christine Lewis, METRO District 2.

After the lighting of the tree explore Willamette and all our shops and restaurants and the wreath and window displays. Take home a memory.

I sincerely apologize for this late response to your question. We were in transition on an administrative level in hiring an Executive Director. If you have not received an answer yet here is the contact for this year’s Holiday Bazaar.
